Born in London
Started attending clubs in central London playing House music and Jazz Funk
from age 15.
Began Djing at London School of Economics where I acquired the nickname
“Koops” – hence DJ Koops.
Travelled to the home of house music, Chicago on several occasions to
understand the origins of the music form.
Once my professional career started gave up doing dj gigs except for special
occasions.
Played one off’s at Nikki Beach (St Barts) and Soho House and Kenzo hotel in
Mykonos
Was big fan of Paul Trouble Anderson who passed away 18 months ago. We play
the same brand of Soulful House Music.
Spend numerous hour per week scouring the various platforms for new banging
tracks.
